Live Messaging + Video Conferencing Now Available

by Chris Bolton last modified 09 Jan 2009 17h25

To further enhance your client experience with our analysts and staff we are now offering free live text messaging and live voice & video contact via Skype.

Labstaff1All staff at Benchmark Labs are connected by wireless computers that travel with our staff from analytical station to station to process your samples.

To further enhance your experience in contacting our analysts to discuss any questions you may have, you can now contact them directly using Skype.

Skype will let you know whether our staff member is in the office and on-line.  Additional features include instant messaging, file transfer, and live two way voice and video conferencing.   It will also permit you to record and continue past conversations.

What we like about Skype is that it nicely organizes our correspondence to our clients in a secure environment that also provides easy access 24/7.  By calling our staff using Skype you can have a "face-to-face" discussion with our staff over your computer utilizing Skype's voice and video functionality.

To get started, please visit Skype and download their free software (www.skype.com).  Then please contact Chris at chris@benchmarklaboratories.com.  Chris will provide you with Benchmark Labs Skype account names.  Simply add these account names to Skype and you are ready to go.

Skype  is free software that allows users to make telephone calls over the Internet. Calls to other users of the service and to free-of-charge numbers are free, while calls to other landlines and mobile phones can be made for a very small fee.

Skype was created by entrepreneurs Niklas Zennström, Janus Friis, and a team of software developers based in Tallinn, Estonia.  The Skype Group has its headquarters in Luxenbourg, with offices in London, Tallinn, Tartu, Stockholm, Prague, and San Jose.

Skype has experienced rapid growth in popular usage since the launch of its services. It was acquired by eBay in September 2005 for $2.6 billion.
